The Following Description is needed to be filled by Actors-
The Show-Debate Wars, A Debate Show that covers political as well as community based topics, this show unlike most debate shows acknowledges that things can get pretty heated in a debate, we also encourage it. This show pretty much plans to bring a jerry springer like atmosphere and format to the table. However violence is not condoned or executed on this show, only the perceived threat of it, example- getting up and getting in someone's face, raising your voice and insulting them is what we're looking for. Mock security always Steps in to separate the two debaters, a boxing bell rings and of course the studio audience cheers loudly. 

Actors Role- At The Core of this you need to know how to debate or at least know your predetermined subject well enough to make valid points, all debates are 15-20 minutes during which 3 flare ups are needed. 

No Risks- The Other Person You're Debating Is In On The ( The Work ) and of course you two can do pre-show dry runs to develop a natural believable rhythm. 

All I Ask Is that you take the culture of debating seriously.

I've been in this business since 2005, I've worked in the industry as a writer, even sold a screenplay, and am in process of selling another. I've been trained as a cinematographer, by D. Gracia and Sergio Herrara, learned Editing from editing greats such as Lauren Adams, Jennifer Smith and Nick Roers, film industry editors and was certified recently as an editor by Comcast and PhillyCam.org (a Division of Comcast). I learned directing and producing by interning for 3 years with BrownBag Pictures and Warner Brother Studios. Was taught Production finance and management by Ron A. Gregg & Associates, and Dwan Brown of Brown Bag Pictures.

My Production experience and work is a variety of genre work, from Commercials, promos, web promos, Live performances, music videos, films, TV shows, still ads,  Show and film intros, and outdo, film and show audio mixing, special effects sound mixing, scene music mixing, film scores and mix arrangements for audio in films or shows.

I taught Video Production Management Temple University from 2007 - 2014. I did this for free and the University's resources, while I earned my LLM in Intellectual Property Law, and taught over 186 film graduates that time.

   There are 2 films unfortunately I cannot show you, they are films paid for by an investor whom I have Film Festival agreements with. The investors don't want them shown to anyone, However, there are those I can share, below. also a small note, most of my links on youtube are "UNLISTED" I don't put media on youtube to gain "views" youtube for me is just another hard drive that saves space on my harddrive. 

LONG WAY FROM CUBA

Short Film (about 22 min in length) about a DEA agent after a slippery Killer (Omillio Sparks) , who has created an attenuate (cuts cocaine) that cuts cocaine 10 times over all substances used. A bounty on Sparks head because he refuses to sell the formula to a dangerous Colombian drug lord, however Sparks kills off those who accepts the job, and just when the DEA gets really close is when the real damage begins.

I must mention, This short film was filmed in 2008 but my hard drive was destroyed and the film was lost but recently, the guy who color corrected the film for me, had all but 11 scenes still in his hard drive, so I put together what I had, and the film won at Bridgeport film festival.

This film I wrote, produced and managed but was Directed by my student Stephen Litten. I was inspired to write this from an old TWILIGHT ZONE show, sith a man who comes face to face with HIMSELF at a GreyHound bus station. I always hated the way it ended, so I created my own scenario, using a woman and instead of out in the public, where you are safe, I take it right to you, In your home.

This film  'LARRY'S DEAD" is a short film is a simple lesson learner. When you plot, sometimes there is a counter. This film was a simple practice that also won at the film festival, but was never meant for that, Myself and another young director showed up at a friends house with my camera, no lights, a short script, called over a few other friends, gave them 20 minutes to study their lines, then we shot it one take. The idea was to see if people would like it still, although minimum effort was put into it. I learned allot in this practice, especially about myself.

BLACK CEASE IN CRIME WAVE   This film shot in February of 2010  was done on spec for the Rapper 50 CENTS.  At the time, "Black Cease"the rap artists had been a feature on %) Cent's single, we did the short film, and about 2 years later he gave me $5K for the file. At this time, I was experimenting with sound and creating my own sound identity. Wasn't terrific here, but soon after (about 5 years) I had become an amazing sound editor.

Delmer B. Gill otherwise known as; CHEF TREK started his Culinary show over 12 years ago, and has been going strong ever since. Chef Trek shows differs from other cooking shows in a very simple way. All the ingredients and spices and foods that the Chef cooks and illustrates how to cook on the show can be bought at your grocery stores in your communities, no exotic spices and other that most shows would send you to "fairway Markets" in New York, or some out of reach place, causing the viewer to seek alternatives, thereby not being able to create what the Chef shows you. His show is created for all and any who love food and love to cook, and in a very entertaining way with his zainny sense of humor and great guests.

CHEF TREK ADVENTURES Series largely inspired 
by Beverly Ann Gill, Chef Trek's late wife, a super wonderful woman, who inspired many people on this planet including this blogger. Beverly is truly missed and all of us are better people for having known her. God Bless you Beverly Ann Gill and Thank you.

RAY BAILEY is the only candidate I know of here in West Philly, who is SERIOUS about bringing jobs to our community, he will also do all he can to even raise the minimum wage up to $15 dollars an hour, this is something that will be instrumental in getting many of our youth off the streets thereby making the community safer at the same time.

JOBS & JOB TRAINING

We have many capable and able men and woman young and senior, ready to work in our community, yet the unemployment rate is well north of 50%. How do we change this? Well, first, people have to care, and I'm certain YOU do, we all do, but without representation in Harrisburg, we don't have a chance. WELL NOW WE DO and the answer is Ray Bailey. He will bring Job Programs to the community, inside the community, training men and women on how to get these jobs, how to prepare resumes and how to keep them, but the first thing he will do is bring the jobs here. He has long standing relationships with the businesses in our community and outside of our community. Often when there are Jobs available, many in our communities don't qualify just on the basis of not be prepared, or having the knowledge of how to represent themselves. Job training programs will solve these problems.

FUNDING for Entrepreneurs

Many of us have great business ideas and basic business smarts. I've spoken to many in our West Philadelphia community who express interest in going into business for ourselves, however, the opportunity isn't there. What happens most of the time is, funding pretty much goes elsewhere. remember in the 60's, 70's and even early 80's the business owners were the very people who lived right in your community? Ray Bailey is determined to partner with other state agencies and public entities to deliver specialized programs and services to assist in enhancing the workforce. We can bring that reality back. Peace to my followers I missed you!

THIS IS A BUSINESS...MAN!

I live in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, the city where so many businesses have left yet everybody is a businessman/woman. I work in media, that's a short way of one lining all the things I actually do in media. Many of you know me as a filmmaker, Producer and writer, others know me as an entertainment consultant, part time anyway. I've been around and through it, at the very least I know what it is when I'm in it, and so do many of you, but for the one's who don't, this is what I mean. Several Philadelphian's have set out to become, in the entertainment business that is, become rappers, consultants, singers, managers, branders, promoters, filmmakers, music video directors, show hosts, TV hosts, and so on. But in this Valley we call "entertainment business" and "media" there are wolves who work in the valley, and they are sort of like a filter, that filters Out, and what gets through is less than entered. Maybe this is a good thing, but unfortunately, many would be or will eventually be singer, rapper, director, etc, are taken on their route to success, taken for fools, taken for gullible, taken for there money that's the big one, and it all mostly leads to dissolution. And I resent it. My having managed a film production internship at Temple University for 7 years (ended 2012) I've had the pleasure of being around several filmmakers, editors, actors and actresses, and working for a record label, have been and am around several young rappers, singers, musicians and so on and naturally have an affection for what they go through, especially when they are mislead. At another time, I will do a detailed blog on this because a few paragraphs could not in any way cover what's on my mind right now but I will say this one thing, which is representative of this whole thing and that is this:

Whatever it is you do, rapper, singer, songwriter, musician, filmmaker, makeup artist, blogger, webmaster, PA, whatever, At that point which someone, or company comes to you now, to represent you or your intellectual property in any way, now known or later devised, YOU MUST totally check out who you are dealing with, especially if they talk a good game, do this, because most unfortunately are full of shit and most people don't check people out. I promise you, what I am saying is true. Listen, the person, male or female thats really real, will always not really need you :) thats a fact, half of them will almost be too busy to deal with you in the first place or thirdly, will be someone who has the talent to and understanding to and the contacts to represent you but will be reluctant. That is some small truth but hard truth. Artists out there ALL ARTISTS whatever you do, I'll call it art for the sake of this blog, please consider what I've said here. Not everybody is that"Businessman", my friends, who so-call represent the business you want to be in and make your mark in in.
